I have been suffering from poor sleep since I was a young girl. I have tried over the counter as well as prescription medicines. My doctor referred me to Dr. Oexman for evaluation. Dr. Oexman thought I was a candidate for CBTI. The process was fairly easy with the only down side being tired the first week of treatment. I am off all medications now and sleep well.
I started sleeping poorly after an illness in my mid 30’s. I thought it would go away on its own but time proved me wrong. I started trying self-help tips with no success. A friend suggested that I try CBTI after hearing Dr. Oexman speak. I liked being able to do the treatment from home. After nearly 30 years of poor sleep I am doing better than I could have imagined. Thanks Dr. Oexman.
After having children in my late 20’s I became a very light sleeper. I contributed this to my caring for the children at night. Unfortunately my sleep was still light long after my children were grown. My doctor suggested that I try Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia. I was concerned at first that I would not be able to stick to the sleep routine that was prescribed, but when my sleep started to improve it was very motivating. I am now sleeping like I did prior to having children.
